Magnolia Hotel pt.2

We showed up to the hotel to interview the owners, paranormal investigators, caretakers of the property, and a descendent of someone associated with the building. Not long after arriving things paranormal in nature began happening around us; Billy heard a voice, Mark saw a dark mist shoot across a room, and another person saw an unexplainable light appear and then disappear. And this was all in the middle of the day… We are REALLY looking forward to the investigation portion of this episode. As usual, you can follow along with the investigation as we give live updates on twitter @StrangeTownShow July 6th around 10pm Central Time

UPDATE: SINCE WRITING THIS POST, WE HAVE COMPLETED OUR INVESTIGATION AND THIS EPISODE NOW AVAILABLE TO WATCH ONLINE. Episode 7 – Emma’s Little Secret – For more info about the hotel and the investigation. Later this month we have the great privilege of investigating the legendary Magnolia Hotel in Seguin, TX. As usual we will keep you update. “HOME to the 1800’s AXE MURDER, William Faust! The Magnolia Hotel in Seguin, Guadalupe County, was built in the early 1840s. Joseph F. Johnson bought a two-room log house from James Campbell, made additions, and turned it into a hotel. Johnson sold the hotel in 1846 to Michael Erskine and Jeremiah S. Calvert. The FAMOUS Capt. John “Jack” Coffee HAYS was married there in 1847 to Susan Calvert. W. S. Ried was the proprietor in the 1850s. The hotel was a popular stopover for passengers traveling through Seguin on the stage. Its cellar was cut out of solid rock and served as a refuge during Indian scares by the Chief Tarantula. During 1874 it was the home to one of Texas most hideous SERIAL killer who was lynched once discovered! In the 1930s a section of the hotel became part of an apartment house.” Official Hotel Page
